 s in various plant-microbe interactions.\nPRR-triggered immunity (PTI) war
 ds off a wide range of pathogenic microbes\, playing a\npivotal role in an
 giosperms. However\, the existence or significance of PTI in non-flowering
 \nplants including bryophytes remains largely unclear. My group has been e
 stablishing the\nliverwort Marchantia polymorpha as a plant model for stud
 ying evolutionary molecular\nplant–microbe interactions (EVO-MPMI). In t
 his talk\, I will introduce our findings on PTI-\nrelated pathways in Marc
 hantia polymorpha.
