Many of us already know Johanna from her time in our courses and later through her thesis work within the group. What started in the classroom has now grown into an exciting new chapter as she begins her PhD journey with us.
Her PhD research will focus on greenhouse gas fluxes from diversified cropping systems using eddy covariance approaches, helping improve our understanding of carbon and greenhouse gas dynamics in climate smart agricultural systems.
We are thrilled to have Johanna officially joining the team and look forward to many more flux discussions, field days, and the occasional battle against stubborn eddy covariance data.
Welcome back and good luck with your PhD, Johanna, from all of us in the group!
