Profile

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics at the University of Bonn. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Rural Innovation from Makerere University in Uganda.

My research interests focus on sustainable agricultural practices that integrate agricultural development and conservation to build resilient food systems. I am particularly interested in the role of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in enhancing crop resilience to stress especially in the global south where low soil fertility and pest outbreaks pose a significant challenge to smallholder farmers.

In the future, I  plan to explore the effects of micro plastics on nutrient cycling and soil health, including soil microbial activity and the functioning of the arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis.
