Patricia Ivone Palomino Rios

I am a master's student in the Program Agricultural Sciences and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ARTS) at the University of Bonn. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy with an emphasis in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) in Lima, Peru. My interests are in ecosystem approaches toward sustainable agriculture based on practices related to plant-soil-microbes interactions and their implications in water management, crop nutrition, and plant tolerance to drought, pests, and diseases. I am also interested in topics such as food security, crop and ecosystem analysis and modeling, regulatory affairs of agrochemicals, and safe handling of pesticides.
