- From Frankfurt Airport (FRA): Take the ICE to Bonn-main station (Bonn Hbf) and then further by bus
- From Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN): Take the Airport Express Bus SB60 to Bonn main station and then further by bus
- Take any train or tram to Bonn-main station (Bonn Hbf)
- Then take busses 601, 602 or 603 in direction of "Poppelsdorf" and exit at "Am Botanischen Garten"
- From the North: Approach Bonn either on the A555 or the A59 to arrive via the A565 in the direction "Koblenz/Bonn". Take the exit "BN-Poppelsdorf". From the Reuterstraße, immediately take a right turn into Jagdweg. Make two more right turns into Sternburgstraße and then into Clemens-August-Straße. At last take a left turn into Katzenburgweg.
- From the South: Approach Bonn on the A61 to arrive via A565 in the direction "Bonn/Flughafen/Meckenheim". Take the exit "BN-Poppelsdorf". From the Reuterstraße, immediately take a right turn into Jagdweg. Make two more right turns into Sternburgstraße and then into Clemens-August-Straße. At last take a left turn into Katzenburgweg.
