Sustainable Building in the Service of Research

The newbuild at the corner of Sebastianstraße and Carl-Troll-Straße will meet the most stringent environmental standards and thus serve as a role model for construction that is focused on the future.

The longitudinal section of the building is being constructed using timber frames and will be insulated with wood shavings.

State-of-the-art perforated Poroton bricks are being used in the transverse section of the building. They will be filled with perlite, making them particularly good thermal insulators.
