ARTS | Seminar Series with Dr. Shree Pariyar

Lecture series with Dr. Shree Pariyar on “Integrative Phenomics Accelerates the Development of Engineered Crop Root Systems”. Dr. Shree Pariyar is a plant scientist and has led research across world-class institutions, including the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in California, the Jülich Research Center, and the University of Bonn in Germany. His research sits at the crossroads of biology, technology, and sustainability, integrating AI-driven phenotyping, genomics, and molecular biology to design plants that support both productivity and planetary health.
Originally from Nepal, Dr. Pariyar earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Tribhuvan University, and his Master’s (ARTS program) and Ph.D. from the University of Bonn, in partnership with CIMMYT.
