On July 14, 2026, Yeshambel Emewodih Mihiret defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Regulatory Networks Underlying Plant Nutrient Status: From Diagnostic Molecular Sentinels to Inositol Pyrophosphate-Driven Metabolic Control.” In an excellent presentation, he shared the key findings of his research and confidently addressed the questions of the examination committee.
After passing his doctoral examination this special milestone was celebrated in keeping with tradition: Yeshambel enjoyed a ride in the Doktorwagen from our institute to Poppelsdorf Castle.
