This past week the group met after work to grab drinks and food atop the local Bundeskunsthalle. Discussions jumped from life and travel to the field and research, and back again, before we left the tables and moved towards the art installation to add our own creative impression.
A giant circular table was ringed around a small solid circular piece, upon the surface of both towers and bricks of Lego. A nighttime foot's nightmare, no doubt.
The guests at the installation are encouraged to partake in structural design (or destruction) of the art work - being the curious minds that we are, we had no desire to destroy existing works (intentionally) and contributed our own unique structures of ships and thrones, buildings and blocks.
Looking ahead, our next planned outing aims to follow a river and end at a nice Biergarten - but you'll have to wait for the article still :)
