The GfÖ has a new co-chair of AK Agroecology! Congratulations on the new title, Daniel!

Recently, our very own Daniel Vedder assumed the position of co-chair of the GfÖ Specialist Group Agroecology. He was elected in Würzburg, where the group had gathered for its first annual meeting. Aside from organising the rejuvenated group and planning its future activities, researchers discussed hot topics in the science of agroecology. The specialist group's goal is to be a network that promotes communication and cooperation between scientists, practitioners, and policy makers working at the intersection of agriculture and ecology. Going forward, they plan to have newsletters, webinar series, and future annual meetings of the group. We're excited to see where it goes, keep it up Daniel!
