Before the summer truly began cooking, on the winds of spring's last breath, the University of Bonn hosted their annual Kinderuni, kicking off with a series of lectures. Covering topics that ranged from football and Star Wars, more serious matters like the Ahrtal and recovery after the devastating 2021 flood, and beyond to minerals, proteins, and also biodiversity!
The biodiversity lecture was given by our very own Anna Cord, who focused on the importance of biodiversity and novel monitoring technologies that the lab is using for in the field for tracking bird presence.
The attendees were enthusiastic and engaged, inquisitive minds abound. Until next year, Kinderuni!
